KS3

In years 8 – 10 pupils follow a general science course which includes elements from all four Science Attainment targets. Assessment is by means of unit tests and end of year exams.

KS4

In years 11 and 12 pupils have a choice of studying either Single Award Science or Double Award Science. Both courses are modular and are assessed externally by end of module tests. Both courses include an element of coursework and prepare students either for further study or to begin work.
