In years 8 – 10 pupils follow a general Science course which includes elements from all the Science Attainment targets. Assessment is by means of unit tests and Assessment Windows throughout the year. Topics to be covered are:

- Separating Techniques
- Food and Digestion
- Light and Sound
- Heart and Lungs

OCN Level 2 Applied Science
Years 8 to 10
Homework will be set every 2 weeks on Google Classroom and will involve a variety of activities including; Worksheets, Research, Video Q+A, Spellings, Definitions and Test Revision.
Years 11 and 12
All homework will be set on Google Classroom.
For GCSE subjects homework will be set to supplement and reinforce classroom teaching and will vary from weekly to bi-weekly depending on the topic.
Homework for OCN Applied Science will be set when required due to the portfolio nature of the course.
