Movilla High School, Newtownards has been awarded Cyberfirst Schools Gold status by the National Cyber Security Centre for delivering excellence in cyber security education. The school was presented with their award last Thursday 25 May 2023 at the Cyberfirst conference - Empowering Cyber Education Conference for teachers. Movilla High School was awarded Silver in September 2021 but has been upgraded to Gold. It is one of five schools in Northern Ireland to have been awarded the Gold.
